1. Pollen grains and other floral parts in several crop plants were observed with the soft X-ray appratus “Softex” which had a fine-focus tube made with a new idea. 2. The sharpness of radiograph somewhat increased in this way, but the area of radiation narrowed and the time of exposure was prolonged. 3. The time of exposure and ability of enlargement were tested with three types of X-ray film. These differences were visible.
