In the present report, an abandance of lattice substitution of certain elements, such as titanium (Ti), vanadium (V), chromium (Cr) and manganese (Mn) within rock samples is estimated by the data obtained from their remanent magnetic characteristics. This estimation is only the very trial in the first order approximation, but the relationship which was found between the magnetic property of rock samples and concentration of some lattice substituded elements mentioned above within the sample does not seem unvaluable and has to be solved concerning the fundamentals of rock magnetism. The present author considers that such elements might play significant roles in magnetic properties of rocks. Up to these days, any of these roles has not so precisely been investigated yet. In order to push the rock magnetic study out towards more foundamental, the present author put the present paper as one of the stepping-stones on such the field of rock magnetism. The present author had the paleomagnetic data on some rocks come from two alkalic igneous complexes having similar magnetic properties each other. On the other hand, regarding to one of these igneous complexes the geochemical and petrological informations were available. Based on these published data the present author was able to find the relationship between the remanent magnetic intensity and concentration of lattice substituted elements in the specimen from one complex with data concerning both magnetic and geochemico-petrological properties of the rock samples, and had applied this obtained relationship to another rock unit lacking any datum of geochemico-petrological study. About the latter complex samples the concentration of lattice substituted elements was estimated by the relationship thus obtained. The paleomagnetic results obtained from two alkalic igneous complexes at Magnet Cove area and Potash Sulphur Spring area, which are located only few
