Transplantation of rat ovary into ovarian bursa after freezing and thawing
A study has been made of the viability of rat ovarian tissue after exposure -196℃. The ovaries were plunged into LN_2 directry after soaking in the vitrification solution(Rall & Fahy, 1985). After thawing and transplantation, such tissue formed functional grafts in the ovarian bursa of the ovariectomised donors, and ovulated.
